Dr. Irina Kummert is working as a human resource consultant since 1997. She founded IKP Executive Search GmbH in 2003. Since then she specializes on filling positions in the financial sector, the real estate industry, the energy economy, the public and the automotive sector. Irina Kummert has a special expertise in supporting change processes and in planning as well as implementing measures in personnel development considering scientific findings of neurology and philosophy.
Between 2009 and 2015 she held a lectureship at Humboldt-University in Berlin and since 2012 she regularly holds lectures at Georg-August University in Göttingen. In 2013 Irina Kummert obtained her doctorate in philosophy at Goethe-University in Frankfurt/ Main on Ethics and Moral in the Capital Market. Since 2013 Irina Kummert is representing the Ethikverband der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. as the President. In 2014 Irina Kummert took up the invitation of Ms. Hildegard Müller to get involved with the Zentralkomitee der deutschen Katholiken in the issue area of economic and social matters. Since 2015 she is a member of the DVFA Ethik Panel headed by Prof. Dr. Dr. hc Julian Nida-Rümelin.
Dr. Kummert is co-publisher of the book “Schwierigkeiten mit der Moral. Ein Plädoyer für eine neue Wirtschaftsethik.”, published in September 2015. Her contribution is titled: “Absicherungsstrategien und Scheinsicherheit: Die Kontextualität von Moral und Regulierung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Kapitalmarktes.“ She is opinion leader at manager magazine and published a range of contributions in different medias. She moderates panels focused on economic and ethical problems. Since 2003 she is member of a Rotary Club, which she already represented as a President.
